Cooking with Herbs – Soups to Boost Your Immune System


With such ailments as colds, flu, and respiratory infections in the news headlines every day, now is a good time to think about how to keep your immune system working at optimum performance.

In this online class, I will demonstrate herbs intended to boost your immunity and can be included in your everyday routines. The focus will be the recommended formula from Hubei Province Integrated Chinese Western Medicine Hospital for people that may have been exposed to the TCM description of “Lung Toxin”. The concept in TCM for the formula I will be highlighting is to boost the Wei Qi or protective force of the body. I will also be making soup to enjoy in class that incorporates the herbs from that formula.
